I have fallen in love with trash the dress sessions. Not the ones you see where the dress is caught on fire on gets paint all over it. But, the relaxed ones in the woods or rustic areas.. more importantly, the water ones.
Now, I don't really want to trash my dress, after all.. I'll be spending all that money on it, I don't want to just throw it away. Plus, I'd rather donate it to someone who really needs it vs trashing it, ya know? So, I'd rather "rock the frock" and it could just be dry cleaned after. Or purchase a $99 sale dress at David's Bridal.. but I'd rather have on my dress.
Derrick and I plan on going to Hawaii for our honeymoon, Oaho and Maui to be exact. I've read about people doing trash the dress sessions on their honeymoon and they are BEAUTIFUL. We don't live anywhere near the ocean, so if we chose to do a trash the dress session in Hawaii, I think they would come out so beautiful.
Just seriously, look at these:
Aren't they so beautiful!?!
Now, I just have to try to convince my fiance to get on board with the idea. Hmm.
What about all you ladies? Are you planning to do anything with your dress after the wedding?
I love TTD photos. I think it would be such a great experience! However, I will be selling my dress after the wedding. Sigh. I know I wouldn't be able to jump in a lake in it--I would have a heart attack. Hmm..maybe someone will LEND me a dress to trash... =D
ReplyDeleteThere are some pretty amazing TTD sessions, eh? I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the dress afterward...
ReplyDeleteWe are getting married on the beach in Costa Rica trash the dress was a MUST... Not only will it be a great way to get some amazing pictures but a great reason to wear my dress again, plus I can't decide how i want to do my hair so I'll mix it up and do it in a low loose updo for the wedding and have it down for the trash the dress... hehe.
ReplyDeleteWe are doing a TTD on Isla mujeres! beautiful water and white sand, what else could make for a more beautiful photo shoot???
