Rock the Frock/Trash the Dress??

I have fallen in love with trash the dress sessions. Not the ones you see where the dress is caught on fire on gets paint all over it. But, the relaxed ones in the woods or rustic areas.. more importantly, the water ones.

Now, I don't really want to trash my dress, after all.. I'll be spending all that money on it, I don't want to just throw it away. Plus, I'd rather donate it to someone who really needs it vs trashing it, ya know? So, I'd rather "rock the frock" and it could just be dry cleaned after. Or purchase a $99 sale dress at David's Bridal.. but I'd rather have on my dress.

Derrick and I plan on going to Hawaii for our honeymoon, Oaho and Maui to be exact. I've read about people doing trash the dress sessions on their honeymoon and they are BEAUTIFUL. We don't live anywhere near the ocean, so if we chose to do a trash the dress session in Hawaii, I think they would come out so beautiful.

Now, I just have to try to convince my fiance to get on board with the idea. Hmm.

Bridesmaid Dress Dilemma

Even though my wedding isn't until November 12, 2011.. I decided to get a jump start on looking for bridesmaid dresses. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a very picky person, so finding a bridesmaid dress that fit my idea I have in my head, that's in the price range and flattering on all is very hard. I spent hours upon hours browsing multiple dress sites and nothing.
